On International Women's Day, Insight Vacations launched a new way to travel: Women-Only tours. With departures beginning in 2025 across 11 itineraries, Insight have opened up a world of opportunity for a large portion of solo travellers - women. With small groups of a maximum 24 guests (avg. of 20), this new range of itineraries has been specially created for women, by women. Whether you're travelling for the first time or the fiftieth time, Insight Vacations' Women-Only tours are designed to nurture curiosity, build confidence and foster shared experiences and connections.

On the 12-Day Splendours of Egypt (Women-Only Tour). Get up close and personal with ancient history at the Valley of the Queens. Located amid the hills along the western bank of the Nile River in Upper Egypt, this site was a burial ground first for officials and later for royal wives, daughters and sons from 1550 to 1080 BC. You can visit from a selection of tombs open to the public.

Help Preserve Ancienct Customs in Peru

On the 10-Day Peru with Machu Picchu (Women-Only Tour). Visit a local traditional Quechua weaver in the Sacred Valley for a private textile presentation. You'll learn about ancient weaving techniques and the importance these textiles have in shaping personal and regional identities.

Meet a Celebrated Chef in Morocco

On the 11-Day Best of Morocco (Women-Only Tour). Indulge in a tasting menu at NUR Restaurant, meaning 'Light,' and meet Chef Najat Kaanache, who will share her passion for blurring the boundaries between art and gastronomy. Chef Kaanache has had successful careers as a television actress and professional chef in 3-star Michelin restaurants in three countries. She made history as the first and only Moroccan chef to work at the famed Spanish restaurant, El Bulli.
