CostSaver is Trafalgar's affordable range of coach tours. Comparable to Cosmos in price and quality, their focus has always been on Europe and the UK, but have more recently launched a range of new itineraries in the US, Canada and South America. If you are looking for an affordable touring option, then CostSaver is a great option, and if you've travelled with any of its sister brands like AAT Kings, Trafalgar or Insight Vacations further savings are available.The price for that affordability - while all the must-see sights are included, there are lot of optional excursions which can add up quickly if you choose to do them all. If that's likely, perhaps a more inclusive Operator like Trafalgar or Insight is best. However if you like the freedom to explore on your own, and are after a relaxing and hassle-free holiday, then Costsaver is a great option.

Great tour starting in Barcelona and ending in London. It was also good how you get to spend two nights in certain cities. The local dinner in Italy was a highlight and recommended!
I you love swimming, blue water and heat, you will love this tour. Greece was gorgeous and the places visited amazing.

Every part of this tour was so much fun! From the canal cruise in Amsterdam to the classical music night in Vienna - I enjoyed every moment of it. Global journeys are great to deal with and this Contiki tour was awesome! The trip manager and driver were both great.
The Vietnam highlights trip was such an amazing experience and definitely a great way to start travelling. Going to another country is daunting, going alone even more so, so to arrive and meet around 20 great people is such a good way to kick off a holiday. Booking was fast and easy. Amazing tour, but fast paced with early morning and evening arrivals due the time of year. Perhaps this tour is more suited for spring than winter as longer days of light would have enabled us to see more of the destination along the route and apon arrival. Lots of fun and excursion options.
Overall we had a good holiday with the small group which we enjoyed, The Travel Director and both guides were extremely good & very helpful & accommodations were excellent & our coach, drivers were also very friendly. Our only oncern was when we went to Sun world BA NA Hills. The Travel director didn't come with us so we struggled & due to severe weather ...read more conditions at the hill we were unable to see all the attractions. A 25 day coach tour, East to West through the southern states of USA. The pace was fairly relaxed, majority of our daily departures were around 8 am, and arriving in our next destination mostly by 5 pm. Informative commentary was provided on history and demographics of places visited. We had a great group of 99% Aussies, similar in age and all got on so well, all respectful of our time lines and had no delays on our travels. A great holiday to explore this vast region of USA.
This road trip had all the iconic landmarks covered. The Tour Director was knowledgeable and informative. This tour was not only great but educational as well. Accommodation in Las Vegas was at Golden Nugget which was too far away from The Strip. Would prefer a hotel more central and walkable.
Costsaver is a budget option, that has pros and cons. Rooms were good, a few were out of town, but that was not an issue for me. The itinerary could be shortened by a couple of days, as the coach wastes time in many comfort stops with excessive down time. Not having food provided, suited me and gave me flexibility for more simple meals. Fall foliage was late in 2024, so our early trip had about 30% colour which was still amazing, it is nature after all. Our Costsaver Fall foliage tour director was a disappointment, boring, lazy and generally grumpy to the guests. He should be retrained in customer service. Overall I would rate the Costsaver Fall Foliage tour of 21st September 2024 a 3 rating out of 5.
We had an amazing USA Best of the West Tour with Costsaver. Georgie at Global Journeys offered excellent service with our tour booking. Our travel director, Todd was very knowledgeable and a great tour guide. Our driver, Augusto kept us safe all through the journey. Will use Global Journeys and Costsaver again!
